REAL PEOPLE, REAL ROOMS, REAL PRACTICE

Gerry T.

"I'm here to invite you to join because it makes you feel more confident, you will meet new friends and improve your English skills. You're very welcome in our group where we speak about different topics, share experience and increase our knowledge."

Evelina B.
Bulgaria

"The course helps me learn new words, it is very pleasant to listen, I understand almost everything they say... I don't put the sentences together correctly. I see little progress with the online sessions."

Diana S.
Bulgaria

"I see great progress in myself and that makes me very happy, especially in areas such as understanding and comprehension, grammar and speaking... I am very happy that now, when I hear a song in English, I can understand it."

Selvie H.

"George, I want to thank you for the wonderful platform you prepared for us to learn English. And in the way children learn – in this fun and truly wonderful way.
For the first time, I've found a way of learning like this. I like it a lot, it's very useful.

Nobody’s watching you fail. They’re watching you try.

Every skill starts small.
And it's hard at first – really hard. It's new, it's uncomfortable, and you're not sure you'll ever do it well.
Piano, bike, swimming... English too.
You fail more than you succeed, at first.
Then practice – and simply not stopping – build the skill for you. And one day, it just feels good.

There's no shortcut around that stage – I wish there was, believe me, I've looked.
Regular practice is the key.

But it's also fine to be careful about who you let teach you.
You had a bad teacher once, maybe more than once – you didn't quit on school because of them.
You've had a bad friend or two – you didn't stop making friends, you just got a bit more careful about who you trust.

That's not cynicism. That's just being sensible.
So be sensible here too – don't sign up for anything. Don't hand over a card number.  Just come into the free Live room, see what actually happens there, practise for free, and decide for yourself, when you're ready.

I've trained 2,800+ students since 1989 – and it always starts with trust. Then regular practice. And then results.

English mentor since 1989

You feel insecure – you lack practice. And we can fix that.

Hey! My name is George, and I've been an English teacher since 1989. Yes – a long time, I know!

Here's what I've learned:
when most of my students come to me and say:
"I need to start from scratch, I don't know anything!",
I simply smile and answer:
"Let's talk and I'll see for myself."

And they usually talk for at least an hour in English (some better, some worse).

Most already know some English. They just haven't used it and feel insecure at first.
Others know a lot but have never developed the skills to use it.
But when I help a little and they see my normal reaction to their mistakes and insecurity, they open up. And speaking gets easier.

So my job isn't just to teach English and give you rules.
It's to help you use the language and develop all the skills you need – with no fear and no stress.

Yes, I'm your English Mentor – we talk, mistakes are absolutely normal in conversations, just keep practising. And with practice you change your idea of English and you feel at home with it.

So talk to me - tell me about you – mistakes and all. It's real fun. Come and see for yourself!

Confidence begins the moment you start practising.

MOST COMMON QUESTIONS

Yes, it's really free. Forever. No card at signup, no day-8 charge coming. This isn't a trial for something else – it's just free.

There's no catch. I do sell courses elsewhere on the site — this is what I do and earn my living with — but the Club and the Lives are different.
They provide a really free chance to practise for everyone, whatever their budget or reasons not to buy.
If you ever want more, you'll know exactly where to find me. No pop-ups, no "upgrade now" nagging.

The Club is the regular, in-your-own-time part – comment, share, send audio messages, get my feedback.
The Free Lives are the live part – real speaking, paired with one other student, when a session's on.
Join one, join both, whatever suits you.

If you're reading this page and you understand most of it without help, you're ready.
Some people in the Club have better English than others – that's normal, just like in real life. And nobody's comparing.

No. In the Club, you write or record when you're ready.
In the Free Lives, you can join and just listen the first time if that's easier – nobody will force you to speak. And besides, you speak with only one other student, so no fear, just smiles.

That's exactly who this Club and the Live room are for. Most people who join are more nervous than they admit, and very soon relax and feel comfortable – you'll be in very good company.

You land inside the Club, read and comment, send me voice messages if you want to practise speaking (it's only me who will hear them and I'll reply personally).
You see what's happening that week, and can join the Live whenever you like.
It's a warm space, and you finally get the practice you've been missing.
